HOME SWEET HOME
As art becomes my life, the art studio becomes my second home. 567 Exchange Street has helped me grow tremendously as an artist and it's only been 6 months since I've become a tenant. After a 9 to 5 daytime job, it's the perfect atmosphere for aesthetic inspiration. The rustic feel streams through my veins: open/raw space, worn down wooden floors, exposed brick walls, an old elevator shaft. Every now and then, sounds of a train chugging along the railroad tracks will break up the silent stillness of the surrounding area. A limited income and I am still able to conquer life-size paint projects within my studio space. This is my thank you to Chris Jacobs, owner of 567 Exchange St. and President of Avalon Development, LLC. for giving aspiring artists a dream. And it's time to turn this dream of mine into a reality.
